Sweet Stitches



The owner of Sweet Stitches, Sandra Hurtado, is a local mom who began her journey into crochet early in 2024 on a whim and instantly became "hooked" as she spent hours perfecting her technique. In the first couple weeks she challenged herself with an afghan project and hasn't stopped since. She views every new project is an opportunity to learn new techniques and beautiful stitches. The craft seemed to be a seamless transition from her other passion... eight years of eyelash extensions. In addition to her passion project of Sweet Stitches, Sandra owns Harmony Aesthetics in Yorkville, has two beautiful children, has an MBA and a black belt in Taekwondo, and has a general love of learning and growing.
